I read Outlander - twice actually - and loved it. I just can't get into the next one - why?! I really want to like it - but I've started it probably 4 or 5 times and can't get past the first couple chapters.
recently borrowed:
Sideways - Rex Pickett
The Cabal and other stories - Ellen Gilchrist
The Confessions of Max Tivoli- Andrew Sean Greer
The Electric Michelangelo - Sarah Hall
The Stupidest Angel - Christopher Moore
no rhyme or reason- I just went to the library and randomly pulled stuff...
Let's see...recently:
The Clothes They Stood Up In - Alan Bennett (which doesn't really count since it's only about 160 pages)
The Stupidest Angel - Christopher Moore (just yesterday)
The latest Stephanie Plum book
Favorite: hazelnut coffee beans, the air right before it snows, wildfire smoke (my dad was a firefighter - it's nostalgic for me)
worst: the nasty sloggy decomposed grass and fish smell of meadow mud, pot
I just discovered Christopher Moore today. I happened upon The Stupidest Angel at the library today and haven't put it down yet. Hilarious! I can't wait to read more of him.
It's been several years since i have been to Seattle, but you can't miss going to Pike Place Market. It's a lot of fun. They also have a great aquarium in Seattle.
Have a great time! :)
I saw The Lake House last night. The first 20 minutes were just ok, and then it got really boring and predictable. For being only 1 hour and 38 minutes, it was really long....
