    Enid Blyton

As far as I'm aware all of Enid Blytons books are still available here. My son read the Famous Five series a couple of years ago. When I was young I just loved The Faraway Tree series best of all. I also read the Wishing Chair books and Mr Gallianos Circus books. Wonderful! :)

William Golding: Lord Of The Flies

What age range is this book suitable for? I'd like to suggest it to my son but I think that he might be too young at 11.

    Little Britain

I'm just off to bed so I'll keep it short. I agree with everything that you've written. I didn't even smile while I watched it. It's such a shame as I had really looked forward to this series. It's very lacking.

    ReaditSwapit

That looks interesting. Although I'm wondering what the odds are of the person with the book that you want wanting a book that you have. I might give it a try. :)

    How do you get rid?

I sell all my finished books on Greenmetropolis.com. I buy most of them there too. I don't know why but unlike most people I never feel that I need to keep them. :)

    Jasper Fforde

I've recently read the first three Thursday Next books. I thought that they were great fun and made a nice change, I love reading something different. The names of the characters made me laugh. I'm planning to read the nursery crimes books soonish. :) Jasper Fforde has a good website too...

    Favorite radio shows/personalities

If I'm not reading I listen to London's LBC 97.3fm. It's talk radio and doesn't play music... phew.

Me too!! I just loved those books, if I remember rightly there were 3 Faraway Tree books. After those I read The Wishing Chair and Mr Gallianos Circus. :)

What do you use as a bookmark?

I use a 50 Baht note from Thailand. I like it because it looks like a paper note but is actually made from plastic. It's only worth a few pennies otherwise I'd have cashed it in when I got back home. :)

    Heat

For a couple of years I was totally addicted with Heat, More, OK etc. Then, during the past few months I found that I was so fed up with reading and gloating over pictures of these so called "celebs", most of whom I wouldn't so much as cross a room to see, that I decided to go cold turkey and...

    Maeve Binchy

I have a phase of reading Maeve Binchy books a few years back. I remember particularly enjoying Tara Road. Recently though I tried to get into Nights of Rain and Stars and couldn't get into it, didn't hate it, just couldn't get into it. :)

Carlos Ruiz Zafón: The Shadow of the Wind

I put it back on my "give it another try someday" pile last year and last week gave it away to a charity shop. I just didn't care about what I was reading. Can't win 'em all I guess. :)

    Your Pets

I have three of my own cats and one foster cat. I work at Cats Protection so I often have cats to "visit" for a few days until space is found at the cattery. My own cats are Penny who is 16 now. I've had her for 14 years now. She's black and white and very fluffy. Before I got her she had...

    Avatars

I chose my avatar because it is a bit like me to look at and it's cheeky like me too! My user name is from a character in the very first play that my boyfriend appeared in. It was "How I Learned to Drive" by the Canadian playwright Norm Foster. Her name was Lilbit and the "eb" at the end is...

I love Blackpool (Viva Blackpool in US)!

I have a multi-region dvd player as my boyfriend is Canadian and he sends me stuff to watch. If I remember rightly it was one of the cheapest in the store and to make it multi-region I had to enter a code when I first set it up. As for Blackpool, I've never heard of it. Was it shown here and...
