I read Cloud Atlas last year and I really enjoyed it. It was good to read something that was in a new style, I found it refreshing. After I finished I found myself thinking about it for quite a while afterwards.
I've enjoyed reading Alexander McCall Smiths Ladies Detective Agency books. They're good for when you need something light and easy to get into. I usually take one on a flight as I can never concentrate on anything taxing at all when I have so many distractions. :cool:
I generally read at the speed as if someone's reading it to me. (that sounds like awful grammar to me, oh well :rolleyes: ). It usually takes me a couple of weeks to get through 300 pages. Often that's because I have trouble finding the time and space to read without falling asleep! I'l love to...
I've just finished reading "How I live now" by Meg Rosoff.
I hadn't realised before I started that it was book written for teens. I really enjoyed it though and felt nice to view life through young eyes again. :rolleyes: Overall I really enjoyed it. A nice easy summer read.

I'm reading The five people you meet in Heaven. I'ts so well written that I'm sailing through it which makes a change for me! I'm thoroughly enjoying it. :)
