I've just heard on the news that a free vote in our parliament has voted to ban smoking in all bars and clubs in the UK.
About time, great news; no more stinking clothes when I get back after a few pints on a Friday night. Well, next year anyway:)

I was in Waterstones yesterday and there are some pretty good titles in their 3for2 range. It may be worth a look and would make you £30 go a bit further.
I'm not sure where you should look but I do think you should work on your spelling and try using some punctuation before you start writing for a newspaper.

I completely agree with all your points about Rebecca. I bought it for my wife as a Christmas present and she never picked it up so I thought I'd have a look; I didn't regret it.
Yes, they really did deserve to win today, at times looking like a totally different side to what we're used to. Found myself cheering them on as if it were England; something which few Scotsman would find it possible to do in my experinence;) :)

I would say, though, that there are plenty of other classics out there you would probably enjoy more. I read this when I was about seventeen and again a few months ago. I got much more out of it hte second...
I'm reading it right now; about 250 pages in. I've used the dictionary a couple of times but like an earlier poster has said, try not to get bogged down with all the detail some of which could be checked out via Google. I'm really enjoying it and like others have said it blows Dan Browns, thrown...
