How to Succeed in Business Without...
Strictly use my head. I usually will make a "Pro" list and "Con" list when making decisions. I will usually cut emotion out of decision making, since emotions change all the time. Of course, people have told that I am logical to a fault.
Lets go for head!! Think it through!
By the way...
The reasons people use those forums are mainly because they feel more comfortable there. The internet provides anonymity. These groups have people with similar experiences, and though processes who bond together. The feel as if they are their own secret society and band together when they sense...
Yes, Thoroughly agree with that point. Beautifully worded post Jemima. As someone else who as also been THATCLOSE to committing suicide trust me I understand. When I was at those two points in time, it honestly felt as if the whole world was dark. No one cared for me, I had no friends at all. I...

I don't think I will play over and over. In fact, I only played that once that turned the game off. It was something interesting to take up a few moments of time. However, it seems like something my husband will end up enjoying.
If you really want to be offended by 'alternative meats' go to PETSorFOOD.com , let me just preface this by saying this site is a joke! The last board I was on people got in an upraor when people thought this was serious.
I have recently got into historical fiction.
I take it as a decent way to expand my general knowledge base. Knowledge regarding the time period and the larger events of particular books. Of course, I look for books that are not overly fictionalized.
The book I recently read, I followed up...
I still have my teddy bears as well. The funny thing is that my husband has taken a particular liking to one of them (there are 2). The bears reside on the bed, me husband will always grab Grey Bear. It is so funny to me when I wake up early for work and roll over to see my hubby ( 6 feet tall...
It depends entirely upon how many days I work in a particular week and how many other things I have to do. If I could, I would sit back and read for several hours every day.
On my days off, usually about 1 - 3 hours. On days I work, usually just about 30 minutes right before bed.
I enjoyed this book. It as an easy and interesting read. Some parts were quite funny while other were horrible disgusting. Obviously, the author comes out in favor of recycling, but is not overly preachy with this view. In fact when it comes to recycling plastics she may well be against that. I...
Caddie Woodlawn when I was 8 or 9. It took me over a month (in summer) to do. It was such a fun book and I was so proud of myself for actually reading something THAT long. I was rather upset when it was finally over.
I still remember parts of the book I thought were funny.
Never underestimate how many complete idiots reside in large cities as well.
It is so much worse because you just can't fight with an idiot, they just drag you down to their level then beat you with experience. In my town we recently had a town official arrested for assualting an...
The book was still used against Oscar Wilde during his trial for homosexual acts. Even downplayed, the book was also deemed to be immoral and thus used as evidence against Wilde. Thanks for the link, Mari.
The reason I like the thread is because it is an easy place to get book reviews. Alot of the books in there don't have their own threads. The person may not have much more to say about the book other than the fact they liked it. Which is a poor starter of a book discussion.
Sometimes I just...
I enjoyed it quite a bit.
It took me a bit longer to make sure I truly understood evrything but it was well worth it. I also enjoyed the many things that Wilde was able to imply Dorian was into without ever saying he was. I enjoyed the portrait as a true mirror into the corrupt nature of...
