    Plot points you can't stomach?

So far I haven't encountered a plot that I'd avoid completely, because when I'm reading I know it's all fiction...and when it is about real life facts I do read them too. Unless I know they were created in a way to support or justify those activities-I would never read a paedophile's real life's...

Which films or books have challenged the way you think?

I'll be forever grateful to my Ethics teacher, who introduced me to Michel Foucault and Slavoj Zizek. They really changed my way of seeing the world.

Can You Part With Them Easily?

Right now I'm having a problem with this...I have three full libraries in my room and books all over with no other possible place to be located, which means that some :( , will have to be given away. Unless I'm really into the, I'm not a rereader, but I do like to have them around for future...

    best book to movie adaptation

Gone with the Wind-Even with characters and situations hacked by the censorship (like Scarlett's son, Beau), the movie doesn't lose the point of the plot or the ambience. I remembered it because I've very recently purchased the DVD.

    I just finished reading...

"Memories of a geisha" I've been having this oriental phase- I had read two Amy Tan's which I also really liked, The Joy Luck Club and The Kitchen's God Wife recently-and I enjoyed it very much, though I felt a bit dissapointed at the end, not because of the way the story ends, but because of...

    Reading more than one book?

I also tend to alternate between 2 or 3 books at a time-usually because I'm always caught up with books for school, which I decided they are only for home reading unless I'm very unprepared for a test. Then for bus rides and spare time at home I get one fiction and other non fiction so I can...
