I've seen that with lots of forums and groups, I don't know what happens, especially with a forum like this where you can see what its about before you register. I've also noticed this forum attracts a lot of guests, one day I was on here and it was me and 64 guests!
I use IMDB a lot and I hear what you are saying! Its a pity they don't use some of that filtering on their forums - moderation seems to be non-existent.
