Don't I love that I can abbreviate Ann Arbor that way? Yes I do. Anyway, about me. I read (obviously) a lot. I write when I'm not completely clueless as to what to write (as I seem to be lately). I'm a student (not U of M but I hope to be one day). A perpetual student pretty much. If it paid...
I walk and do housework (I consider that exercise). Sometimes I read on our stationary bike. Mostly walk though. I use it as a form of transportation as I've never had a driver's license and don't think I'll have one anytime soon. Gas is so expensive anyway. And walking has allowed me to really...
All the time and it drives me nuts. Mostly because they're usually library books so I can't do anything to correct them. I've been known to correct my own (using editors marks no less).
Right with you there. I can remember books I read in elementary school and toys I had before school but I can get lost in a building. Easily. I'm fine if I've seen a map but otherwise....I'm directionally challenged too (still can't always tell my left from right).
I do that a lot. Usually a fiction and a non-fiction. Since books are like life to me (as in I live in them as long as I'm reading, it's great having a very visual mind) I don't confuse them. I remember plots for ages and I confuse things I've read with things I've done.....but hey what's the...
Between 50 and 150 most years. I don't really keep a count. I did last year and ended up reading about 60. Lately I've averaged a book a week. Sometimes I average two a week. Sometimes I only finish two in a month. Depends on how hectic my life is and how much I feel like doing anything.
Whenever I can. I watch very little TV and am getting better at limiting my computer time. So other than sleeping, reading is my most done activity. Was when I was a kid too. Of course we didn't have the net then.
Computer screens hurt my eyes very quickly (even non-CRTs) and to me theres nothing like the aesthetic of an actual book. AND they're portable and lot less likely to be stolen if left alone for a few minutes.
Our public library has no limit. :) Which is good. I love it. I can check out almost ANY book in Michigan from my computer and have it sent to my library. :D Best Thing Ever.
I am so glad I'm not the only person who does that. It's about the only interest I take in most people. I don't like people asking me about books so I try not to ask them either. I don't ask about plots anyway, that's what amazon.com is for.
