Or at least as intricate! J.K Rowling must have planned out the whole storyline before writing the first book, because the way that this has taken off and twisted and turned, there is no other way that she could have done it! But as usual we are probably searching in all the wrong directions...
Oh I love this theory!!! It makes sense in twisted ways. I guess that you would explain Snape's hatred for Harry because he was James' son and because Lily died sacrificing herself for him instead of just letting Harry die?
What about Dumbledore, was his fear ever mentioned? and in the second book, was Dumbledore telling Harry the truth when he said that if he looked in the mirror of erised he would see himself holding a pair of warm wool socks?
I had to read this book for a research paper in high school. I really hated the book while I was reading it, but when I was writing the paper, I fell in love with it. I don't know what it was about the book I enjoyed so much after I had steped away but with the combination of the Literay...
While I found the book exiciting and interesting, the movie was a huge disappointment. I guess that most of the flavor in the book was emotions and description, they just didn't transfer on the big screen. Throughout the whole movie I could barley keep my eyes open!
Those two characters are really similar the way that Orlando portrays them, but if you see Elizabethtown you see a whole different Orlando. He's not as strong of an actor as Johnny Depp so in Pirates, he is shadowed and maybe thats why he came off as the same. I think he's a good actor (he...
While it seems that way now, do you think that it could be significant in book seven? Maybe shed light on Snape, he is such a mysterious character...I love it!
True...but I think that it will just get harder to write the movies if they have explaining from previous books to do because they left information out in the previous movies.
Yea, and he makes Fred and George buy Ron new dress robes. So I guess they could start off with that, but it will only be more difficult to write the movie if they have to include things from the previous ones as well...
I think that he won't it is probably supose to be a sign that he is maturing and growing to understand the gravity of his actions. In the beginning he seemed much funner though, but really it was carelessness and ignorance due to him being naive of the situation.
I thought the only charges leading up to OFP was the Dementors that Harry spooked when in the presence of a Muggle (Dudley) pages that seems important. And the award money thats inmportant too, Fred and George can't just suddenly have money.
I can believe that. It seems true too now that I think about it. But would that be his boggart? I think the Snape-Lily relationship was one sided. Snape had a crush on Lily and she might have returned it if James didn't have to show up and ruin everything (at least thats how Snape probably sees...
I agree! At first I was mad, although the funeral was lovely, but after a while you can't help but admire the way Dumbledore was killed and his beautiful funeral with EVERYONE paying their respects.
I think that because the funeral for dumbledore was so ornate it was definately real. I don't think that JK Rowling would go to all that work, if it wasn't the real thing.
True, I guess you can't be surprised about any book turning into a movie these days: LOTR, HP, DaVinci Code, In Her Shoes, War of the Worlds, Narnia..... and on and on and on!
MonkeyCatcher- I couldn't agree with you more! I love seeing how all the characters are developing and as actors/actresses they are all learning how to bring the books to the set much better. How again did Daniel Radcliff get the part of Harry? I still hate the "new" Dumbledore. He just doesn't...
But he has always been in one, and doesn't know perfection ect. if he looked in the Mirror of Erised (?) maybe thats what he would see... but living in a shadow can't be his fear if that is what he has always done, can it?
