Don't you think with the likes of LibraryThing, Shelfari, and GoodReads already out there, to say nothing of Wikipedia itself, that your energy would be better used elsewhere?
I think what you are failing to grasp is a) you have not been kicked out of any forum, you have left of your own volition; and b) it's not because of one thread, but of the many pointless ones you have made (the one about favourite knots springs to mind) coupled with the more inflammatory ones.

THanks. I did read the first short story, Hands, and that was rather good. Based on when I bought the book, the story was certainly memorable to have stuck with me for a year.
Since it's seen as an American classic and, as far as Anderson goes, his best work, buy it. :D
