I watch this as well over the past 2 weeks. Enjoyed it very much! Had to look up on wikipedia the differences between the novel and film, and there were quite a few. McShane is always great and I loved the woman who Jacks' mom.

Gonna see this one this week, can't wait.

It was a good show, very slow moving though, but I still liked it. I was perturbed that it was cancelled so quick after the first season. The success of The Walking Dead pretty much sealed it's fate.

Julia and Shadowland are my other 2 faves by him. In the late 80's he moved away from supernatural horror to mystery/suspense, to much acclaim, with the Blue Rose trilogy. I've been trying to track down the film version of Julia, which was released under the titles Full Circle and The Haunting...

One of the greats. I love all of his early stuff. This one and Floating Dragon are my faves.

Road Games ~ Hitchcock-style thriller with Stacy Keach as a long haul trucker in Australia playing cat and mouse with a serial killer. Jamie Lee Curtis is along for the ride. :stars3:
