Oh, I don't deny that this stuff hurts. Sometimes, after going a bit too far with yoga, I have sore muscles for a week. Really sore. The kind where you take one breath, and feel pain in fifty places. But it's nice pain. :p
I don't know about your spinal cord injury, but ouch, that makes me...
Aww me too Poppy. (Spent ages thinking of a song... all I was doing was reciting Jabberwocky, lol).
Is the 4 word story still going? Oh, must join in then if it is. :D
Ha ha, I wish (that I could do it, not that I could marry you, though I'm sure that's a very attractive proposition, but... oh help).
No, nowhere near looking like that, my attempt at The Locust.
The Locust for those who daren't risk breaking their back, looks like this:
Quite sure. I have truly exciting plans for that day. :D
Oh, and the trains from Coventry aren't running during the weekend up until September while they do their 'maintenance'. That means catching replacement buses, which are annoying enough just travelling to Birmingham or Leicester...
Because my mum is weird I was brought up doing meditations anyway, so the breathing and stillness of your mind etc, I could already do, which while not essential in practising yoga, will give you a lot of benefit anyway.
Yoga is good though. Unlike activities where you really exert yourself...
Okay, but then just don't publish it. Leave it for the grandkids to find, or something.
Oh. Very educational, but I don't understand why they wouldn't want it listed as one of their works. And isn't that the same as being embarrassed to admit they wrote it?
:D
I think Jordan...
It's entirely logical, actually. Most books, when they're first out, will be available cheaply (in the UK, at least) from the likes of Tesco, or as part of a Buy 1 Get 1 Half Price or 3 For 2 (which is better ;) ) deal. After a certain period, they won't be as readily available and are therefore...
Oh. Strange.
Thought he stopped writing ages ago. I even have a few of his too... and half-read The Wasp Factory, which has absolutely nothing to do with James Bond, I know, but it's Sunday.
Oh. But why do authors use pseudonyms anyway.
Maybe writers really are psychologically...
I'm about halfway through this and desperately regret reading this thread, especially Shade's excellent review with its spoiler - and wah, why? aww, no, that's terrible.
Anyway, I came along here to say I just don't understand it. I don't normally read fantasy / science fiction because I read...
I've got no idea about anything James Bond related, but I didn't know Iain Banks was still writing.
And Ian Rankin writes more than the Rebus stuff then? ;)
Be careful then, because the discipline could easily go, and then you'll be stuck. ;)
I hate the idea of gyms, until I get there. And then, something to do with everyone else suffering just the same, makes you put the effort in.
I flit a lot. I'm big into all the Eastern ways of looking...
