    I would imagine that a movie translation of the Hobbit would be fairly inevitable .. just wait for them to cut out the boring bits .. like the spiders, and the finding of the Ring .. in fact just about all of the book til that nice long last battle, which i'm sure they can string out for a good...

    Do you read non-fiction?

    While i do like Ambrose's WWII books, i much prefer his works on the Lewis and Clark expedition and the one on Crazy Horse and Custer. I found these quite fascinating, as i didnt know much about American history going into them. Phil

    It wasnt irredeemable, but it was far from his early genius :) Well, if you can call Ace Ventura genius anyway, it seemed pretty good when i was 12! :D If you want to see Jim Carrey acting however, steer clear of this and go watch Man in the Moon. Phil
