I just finished the Drowned World by JG Ballard(recently deceased).It's excellent,the atmosphere of London(not Paris !)in sub tropical jungle with lagoons and iguanas,the submerge buildings,some mad scarvengers,all is there to make a very untertaining story.Short but good.
I just finished Agincourt.Good Cornwell,better than Sword song.
It is very like is other archer trilogie-Arlequin-Lots of technical details and as alway lively,easy to read.Also not too predictible wich is a blessing.
A nice display of insult and naming directed to my countrymen,turds sucking...

I can't imagine a sequel when he kills is main characteres half way and the others is a very old writer.(Actualy it's the first time i read it in a novel,the abrupte killing of the hero.It is fisrt frustrating but then the story goes on and we get use to it.)

The few i read of stephen King were frustrating,not that the end is bad but more like they did not really finish.I don't like open ending very much.I want to know what happened,not guess.
