Don't take this personally, I am only giving the other point of view ;) But........
You choose to do a degree in English Literature and you haven't decided on a job. WHY? Why should the tax payer pay for that. You want the tax payer to pay for you to do your degree and you don't even know if...
Wales would come as part of the deal Scotland can have them.
I think students should pay for their education. Why should they get a free ride then go on to earn high salaries. sorry:eek:
are?
I have received another two rental dvd's by post.
Happy feet which I watched yesterday. It's all about penguins; there are hundreds, no thousands of them. I never want to see another penguins for a least a year.
Pan's Labyrinth had a good write-up but have just noticed that it is all in...
They look good and they are bic; what make pens.
How do they work?
How much are they?
What do you do with so many?
How do you sharpen them?
Can they rub out?
Has the top got a hole in it, in-case I swallow it?
Are they real?......They look like pens.
Can I buy just one?
Do they do...
Watched it the other night.
It was a film about a series of events involving children and bound together by the characters.
Is that it or did I miss something.
What about England getting it's independence.
For the last 10 years we have had to put up with a Scottish Chancellor and a Scottish Prime Minster. We have had to suffer Brown and Blair.
Yes Blair is Scottish.
I'm sure Salmon will make a good President of Scotland since you won't have a...
You are missing the point. :)
Your parents married and at the time I would assume, hoped to make a go of it, but for some reason it did not work out. The marriage would have protected your mother legally so she would been entitled to half of every thing.
If we do away with marriage, what...
Mind is only an opinion. I do not know what the world would be like without family life. But my feeling is that it would be a lot worse than it is now.
A stable family life is based around marriage. In order to preserve this, governments offer tax incentives etc etc to married couples. Only...
Talking about twins.
To girls, they were identical in every way; you couldn't tell them apart, they had the same parents and they were born at the same time on the same day; they even dressed the same, but they were not twins.
You are wrong, regarding ‘civil partnerships’ in the UK. You can always Google it if you need to substantiate it. As I have said previously, a gay couple has more rights than an un-married couple living together.
Giving examples of ‘a number of gay families with happy healthy children’ and...
Give me an alternative to the family.
I don't know the laws in La La Land but here gay couples do have the same rights as married couples. A civil partnership.
It is a man and woman who live together that don't have the same rights as a married couple.
..........so you think I am having an argument; I am giving a point of view.
A marriage between a man and a woman is the best way to keep the ‘family’ concept alive. Once the definition of a family has gone then so will society as we know it. I can see the point that if no children are...
Because generally a couple marry, have children and this is the best way to bring up the children. One man and one woman. Once society starts to de-value marriage we will have problems.
Divorce is a totally separate issue.
