I've finishes Piece of my Heart. In this book Bank's inherits his brothers Porsche, flat screen TV etc. Apparently something bad happened to his brother in the previous book, Strange Affair.
I have bought Strange Affair to see what happened. It looks like I could be reading the series...
I may be splitting hairs here but what you have described seem to be 'happy' moments or times, which come and go. The work 'happiness' suggests to me something very long term and uninterruptible, a kind of nirvana.........in other words a constant state in which what ever bad things may happen...
There is no such thing as real happiness. Maybe contentment is a better word. If there are no real bad thing happening in your life then you should be happy, but not every one is.
If you have good health and do not worry about having to pay the next bill that arrives then everything else...

"In a written statement to Parliament, Home Secretary John Reid called for 'managed migration'. Global movement is a fact of life, he said, but he added...
.................and you seem to be getting wound up. :p
Address the issue this thread is about and stop blaming society and trying to defend Gordon Brown, he is a lost cause.
This about sums you up. Pointing out that a capital letter should have been used and splitting hairs about immigration (I am referring to immigration being un-controlled by the labour government, as you well know) seems to entertain you more than the subject of this thread.
The words I used were giving the impression .
We do have UN-CONTROLED IMMIGRATION in the Uk. France and Germany limited the number of eastern Europeans allowed into their countries at any given time, controlled immigration. Tony Blair (and now Gordon Brown) did not. For example: In 2006...
