    How happy is happy enough?

I may be splitting hairs here but what you have described seem to be 'happy' moments or times, which come and go. The work 'happiness' suggests to me something very long term and uninterruptible, a kind of nirvana.........in other words a constant state in which what ever bad things may happen...

    How happy is happy enough?

Because, contentment is what most people think of as happiness. Discribe what real happiness to you.

    How happy is happy enough?

There is no such thing as real happiness. Maybe contentment is a better word. If there are no real bad thing happening in your life then you should be happy, but not every one is. If you have good health and do not worry about having to pay the next bill that arrives then everything else...

    Peter Robinson' books

I'm reading Piece of my Heart, the first Robinson book I have read, so far so good. Two crimes are being investigated by two separate detectives. One now and one in the 1969...................but they seem to be connected.

    The Next President

I'm not from the US. But John McCain will be your best choice whoever comes up against him. For ten years we have had to put up with, a 'younger inexperienced labour' politician who became Prime Minister and made a complete mess of our country. Mrs Thatcher was one of the countries best...

    U.K.'s new child slavery problem

If only it were as easy at that. Many of these people are cheating the system. Many will be working for cash in hand (the Black economy) and claiming benefits at the same time. That is the Governments fault for not having a proper system in place to stop this fraud. Others have no skill...

    U.K.'s new child slavery problem

"Home Office Minister Liam Byrne 2006 said that, while immigration has been good for the country in general, it needed to be controlled." "In a written statement to Parliament, Home Secretary John Reid called for 'managed migration'. Global movement is a fact of life, he said, but he added...

    U.K.'s new child slavery problem

.................and you seem to be getting wound up. :p Address the issue this thread is about and stop blaming society and trying to defend Gordon Brown, he is a lost cause.

    U.K.'s new child slavery problem

This about sums you up. Pointing out that a capital letter should have been used and splitting hairs about immigration (I am referring to immigration being un-controlled by the labour government, as you well know) seems to entertain you more than the subject of this thread.

    U.K.'s new child slavery problem

The words I used were giving the impression . We do have UN-CONTROLED IMMIGRATION in the Uk. France and Germany limited the number of eastern Europeans allowed into their countries at any given time, controlled immigration. Tony Blair (and now Gordon Brown) did not. For example: In 2006...
