I am new to Stephen King and I would like to try one of his books. Anybody have a suggestion to the first book of his I should read?

    Dan Brown: Angels And Demons

I read Angels and Demons after The DaVinci Code and I don't think it matters. The first half was absolutely great, but it got a little "out there" if you know what I mean. It began to get really hard to pay attention to what was going on. I hate to not finish a book, but I felt as if I was...

    Dean Koontz

I'm new to his books, so I just wanted to know what are some possible books of his that will be good to start out with. The only Dean Koontz novel I'v ever read was The Taking. It was weird, but I enjoyed it. I like books that are unique and strange.

Why is it so bloody hard ..

Everyone of you guys needs to watch Home for the Holidays. It will be the most side splitting fun you will ever have. It's generally about a mother regretfully traveling to her parents house to attend a family get-together for Thanksgiving. It is soooo funny because you can really relate to all...

    king kong

I agree with you popsicle, Black is more of a comedy actor. Jackson really takes risks with his choices of actors, look at LoTR. When we all saw the trilogy, we had know idea who those people were (although they turned out to act pretty good.). I believe his actor ensemble of Black, Brody and...

Which sequels or follow up would you LIKE to see made?

The Ring 3 (Aw yeah!) The Mummy 3 (Which was supposed to be in the works, but I have not heard anything about them starting to shoot.)

    Dark Water

The little girl in The Ring was named Sommara (sp?). I know some people would disagree with me, but I actually liked The Ring 2 better than the first one. I liked the line Naomi Watts said towards the end: "I'm not your fucking mommy!!" So kickass cool!

    Upcoming Movies?

Fountainhead, that's a cute review. I liked the part about looking in the phone book. I liked the movie. Almost to much action, although it was worth seeing. If anyone has seen this movie, I have to say that I like the end comment John Smith says to the therapist. I won't say what it is to those...

    Should I or Shouldn't I?

I read Ender's Game (the first one) for a school project and I thought it was okay. It had alot of disgusting and disturbing remarks (or is that just the author?). I thought you could really tell it was an older novel. I really like the newer sci-fi books. Sooooo, I was wondering, for anyone...
