But maybe Rowling did mean her words literally. In Ron's opinion everyone that is out of Slytherin is bad. Not necessarily to the point that they are Death Eaters, or if they are the ministry/Dumbledore can't prove it because they haven't been caught like the Malfoys but they suspect it or at...
Although the trailer doesn't give anything away, I thought it was kinda cute how they show how every main character has grown up. Ron and Hermione look cute dressed up for the ball! I always wondered what they would do for Hermione for that, because in the book they take her as being an ugly...
In the first movie (I don't know about the book, I couldn't find it if it is in there) Ron says to Harry that not a single person who was placed in Slytherin, has come out good. So there is a good reason that posters would think of Slytherin's as not so hot!
Also when snape was in school he had no friends and was nerdy asnd ugly, until one summer he became heavily into the dark arts and then he came back to school with some friends. Draco has always had a little herd of friends because he has always had money, the family history/reputation, and the...
Hagrid is a good choice, it is someone that many people would mourn but at the same time he would not be an essential loss. Hermione, Ron and Harry would all be angry at his passing and not just Harry like with Sirrius. Sirrius was a good choice to die because he was an essential part of Harry's...
no it makes sense, in a really weird way. I agree though, many people when they first read the fifth book, thought wow its so dark! But really, as a teenager you go through that phase of "I hate everything and everyone." While most writers don't even begin to touch on the emotions during this...
hmm... but if the protection was no longer valid, then harry would not have been sent to petunia's for the holiday between year 4 & 5. although you can obviously see that harry has lost some sort of defense, i think that dumbledore said as long as harry can still call the dursleys home, then he...
I think the pureblood/halfblood thing would depend on who in the magical world you ask. See, as in Ron's family, they are all pureblood except for I think it is Mrs. Weasley's cousin (?) and he is considered pureblood by everyone. But in some cases those to whom it matters (the Malfoys) Hermes...
I think that there would be too much repition if rowling kept killing off Harry's family. Why the Dursley's? That just doesnt seem like her style, she is to creative to fall back on killing Harry's family again, what little of it he has left.
Harry and Luna seem to be compatiable on a tottally different level than Harry has been able to connect with any of his other friends. I think that this relationship will bloom into something greater. But, it won't be as romantic as it will be just understanding each other.
I know that everyone has already stated there opinions about who will die in book 6 but i was jw who everyone would pick to die in this book and see who was more popular!
I think that Ron dies in this book. Mrs. Weasley's premeditation makes me think it will be on of her children. He seems...
Offff! Hard question. I really want to say that Harry lives. But, here is another alternative....... Maybe they both live ultimately, and Harry could join Voldermort. He seems just too dark in the fifth book. I know that many people wrote it off as just a 15 year old and his dark thoughts, but...
