If I have ever judged a book by it's cover, it has been without realizing it. Now, if a book cover is horrendous I would probably not notice it at all, OR if it was really beautiful it would probably stick out. Exceptions to the rule more than anything though.

This is actually quite funny. Did you all read about the dad who found out his daughter was pregnant because Target started sending her ads for her baby? They figured it out through her spending habits. Feminine stuff went away, and prenatal tablets came aboard!

If a book looks interesting I get the free sample (or if it looks interesting and is free in general) If the free sample is poorly written than chances are the entire book is going to get on my nerves. This goes for both self pub's and traditional

I read because I love it! I have always loved reading even as a young child. I remember LEARNING to read faster because I got tired of asking my older brothers and sisters to read to me. So I guess I don't know? Just Like a PP stated, it's like breathing, I can't help it.

Ha ha ha - yeah, it's not that bad. I've been helping people promote themselves online for six years. Helping an author promote a book is a lot easier than helping a 90 year old man try to sell health drinks and learn FaceBook :whistling:
