    Wilbur Smith

Also read all of his books, For me the best part is the way he describes the scenery, i feel like i can actually see the sunset or "table mountain". Fantastic, the only problem i have is finding an author that compares, i have already read all of Gemmells and not sure where to go next.

    Epic adventure tales?

haha, ive read all of Gemmells too. Actually im just finishing Ironhands daughter! How about Raymond E Feist? Thinking about some of them as they are Sagas like Wilburs "Courtneys" and Gemmell's "Drenai".

    Great sea stories?

Sam Llewelyn does some good ones, or the Story of Tony Bullimore is good. There are a couple of others but they have slipped my mind. Wilbur Smith has done a couple of semi sea stories in so much as they are based on a boat!
