I'm on a steamboat cruiser in 1920s Louisianna searching for a 3 yr old girl who was abducted during my previous employment of 'floor-walker' in a chain-store.
I'm reading The Missing by Tim Gautreaux now,and def next up is Hyddenworld:Spring by William Horwood, but after that ain't sure, tho' these books are balling at me from that ole bookcase:
Rollback by Robert J Sawyer
Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith
A Dream Of Wolves by Michael White
Dark Fire by...
The Owl Killers by Karen Maitland 4/5
Everlost by Neal Shusterman 4/5
The Wild Hunt by Elizabeth Chadwick 3/5
Castle by J.Robert Lennon 3/5
A Crimson Dawn by Janet Macleod Trotter 4/5
Average month ;)
We've watched from the start, and yes it's frustratingly confusing at times, yet still very addictive. During Season 5 I was starting to think the Island is Atlantis! Hmmm...that's probably 120% wrong knowing Lost!
After colliding with another teenage soul heading for 'heaven' we ended up in Everlost-a ghostly parallel universe populated only by kids aged up to 16.
Everlost by Neal Shusterman
On a hairpin turn, above a dead forest,on no day in particular,a white Toyota crashed into a black Mercedes, for a moment blending into a blur of gray.
Everlost by Neal Shusterman.
A Crimson Dawn/The Hungry Hills by Janet Macleod Trotter.
The 1st is about a concientious objector during WW1,and the 2nd set in a mining village just before and during the 1926 General Strike.
England 1321. I'm in an isolated village governed by a sinister regime called The Owl Masters. And also among a house of religious women who've established a community just outside the village.
U.K:
Red Riding Trilogy
Criminal Justice
The Street
The Take
The Fattest Man In Britain
Ray Mears' Canadian Wilderness
Alan Carr Chatty Man
U.S:
Generation Kill
Dexter
True Blood
Harper's Island
Prison Break(series finale)
Regenesis(series finale)
The Unit(series finale)
Never Stand Alone by Janet Macleod Trotter.
Set before and during the U.K 1984 Miner's Strike, quite a powerful 'biopic' on how the strike both divided and united families and communities, and it conjured up vivid memories of '84 for me personally cos I was living in one of the County Durham...
