    Question Game

My boyfriend, then my dog, and then my laptop. :p If you get a larger than expected bill from your mechanic (and you know nothing about cars), do you just pay it, or do you kick up a fuss?

    Recently Purchased/Borrowed

I really liked that one. Much better than the movie. I picked up my copy from a 2nd hand bookstore years ago, after I saw 2 people pick it up, and one of them say to the other "That's the book I was telling you about!!!" in a really excited tone. ;)

Dan Brown: The Da Vinci Code

Did I say I was referring to this particular thread? I'm taking about the comments that have been made in general. Oh, and saying that you don't like The Da Vinci Code simply because it is "badly written" isn't being specific. It just sounds as though you are following those who say...

    First book you ever read?

I loved Judy Blume books! :D They are such good reads for young girls growing up. I wouldn't actually mind reading them again, to see what I think of them now.

Dan Brown: The Da Vinci Code

It's not exempt, but I have a problem with people bagging it without saying anything constructive about why they don't like it. It seems to me that alot of people say they don't like it, just for the sake of making sure that everyone knows they don't like it. There are several books that I...

No question? Do you feel uncomfortable if you don't always have some spare cash on you? Like you might get "caught out"?

Dan Brown: The Da Vinci Code

We don't all have to agree though - if we did, I think there would be little point to having discussions.:) I enjoyed The Da Vinci Code, but I don't feel like it is some fine work of literature - and it's not meant to be. It's just an entertaining read. I don't understand why so many people...

Tori Amos. :D Do you think life is going too fast, or does it seem to drag along?

    Long novels or short novels?

Either, depending on the mood I'm in. Sometimes I just feel like picking up a really long book, so I can get settled into a long story. Of course content matters as well - I won't read a long novel just for the sake of it, if the story does nothing for me.
