I finished Hammibal Rising about a month ago. I thought it was good. I'll eat up anything that gives me more insight into Hannibal Lecture (pun intended).
Not sure if it was mentioned in this thread, but there are two versions of The Gunslinger. The revised version is expanded throughout the novel.
Personally, I thought The Gunslinger was a great start to the series, but it was clear that King didn't have a vision of the story from the...
I also think The Two Towers is the best of the books (if you consider LOTR a trilogy). I love how Tolkien separates the story. Aragon/Legolas/Gimli go on but they have no idea what’s going on with Frodo and Sam. The reader doesn’t know either.
We lose these characters for 200 pages, but...
Frankenstein-M. Shelley. A Classic that I read in highschool.
The Old Testament- (The first 4 books). What can I say. I can't believe a religion was founded on this book.
1st to Die-J. Patterson.
Blaze-S. King. Good book. I'm now reading Of Mice and Men. If you read Blaze you'd know why.
Blaze is the last book that Stephen King wrote as Richard Bachman. King calls it a trunk novel. Back when he wrote it, it was not good enough to publish, but now it is (Maybe it’s because King can write a recipe for vegetable soup and sell 5 million copies).

Macbeth is my favourite, but I haven't read Hamlet or Othello. I plan to tackle these soon.
Julius Caesar is one of note too. It was the first Shakespeare play I read.
