I love my Japanese films, I've seen Ringu 1, 2 and 0, Battle Royale 1 and 2, Ju-on 1, All About Lily Chou-Chou and a few others (not including all the anime I watch :p). Film Four shows some good Japanese movies, but my mum cancelled the subscription. My boyfriend loves martial arts movies, the...
I read Anne of Green Gables a few years back, for me it was hard to get into at the start but after a while I really enjoyed it. Thats all I've read though... :o
Umm... theres more than one Anne of Green Gables book?

I've read up to volume 5 or 6, my friend lends me them when she buys them since I we're collecting different series' each. I've seen both the movies and currently thinking about ordering the novel at my local Ottakars (seen it there before but didn't have enough money at the time). Its a good...
Currently I have a LOT of books on my To Read List, but few in my To Read Pile. I generally don't have that much money to buy the new books I want to buy so i settle for buying a load of cheap second hand ones. Since I've got a pile of books waiting to be read they are the ones I *try* to read...
Something I don't really need is to encounter my 19 year old brother and his girlfriend in the corridor and when I offer them the internet he replies "Can we get it in an hour? We're just going for a bath." >.<
This just happened 10 minutes ago...
EDIT- An hour later and they're still in...
Same here. Also if I'm lending someone a book I make sure I write down whos got it and when I gave them it. Also with my special books (my favourites bought new that I really don't want damaged and I'm lending them it out of the kindness of my heart) I give a short lecture about how they're not...
I just bought it, but I've been wanting to read it for a while. I bought Queen of the Damned a while ago but decided not to read that until I got the first two. Been looking for them for about a month (cheap copies), so I'll definately need to start reading it soon. :D
Went on a little trip to the charity shops today, didn't find much though.

I'm trying to remember a book I read a few years ago (2 or 3) from my school library.
It was a fantasy book. The story was about a small village that might be demolished, one of the families living there is a girl and her older sister in a small messy cottage. One of their names might have...
Hah! I live nowhere near there! :p
Now that I think about it theres a nuclear power plant somewhere around here. Maybe if I ignore it it'll go away..
Who said anything about throwing them away? :p Even if I don't plan on re-reading a book I'd never throw it away. Maybe I'll re-read some of mine sometime, but at the moment I just want to get through as many as possible in my to-read pile. If that ever runs out (god forbid!) then I would read...
Haven't really thought about anything happening in my area... there isn't really anything around here of much political importance (or much importance in general).
Books and movies alike I only read a few more than once. When I read or watch a movie I like storylines I've never read before, even similar storylines can be different. If I do read a book twice it might be because its part of a series and I want to familiarise myself with the book again.
TV doesn't really interfere with my reading, I do spend way too much time online though... but I'm not cutting back on that anytime soon. :p I'll read whenever theres a break in a show or when I'm on the computer if a page is loading I'll take a few minutes to read a bit more of my book. Or...
