What a coincidence! I just finished my Advanced Higher English one today! :D As long as you aren't just summing up everything that happens in the book without analysing it, it shouldn't be too bad. Just make sure that what you are describing has relevance to the point you are trying to make and...
I do it, but only if someone is looking for something in particular that I know about. Of course, I'll try to say that I've not read it yet, and I only really do it with books that are on my own TBR list. (Plus, if they read it before me they can then tell me whether or not it's a good book and...
I really don't have much to say on the gun laws, but I was expecting a bit more discussion on the sheer idiocy of the security surrounding the shootings. The school was already supposed to be on alert because of bomb threats and a previous shooting incident on the first day of term, yet there...
*sends telepathic permission slip for post*
Probably not the best time to say it.. but I thought I would point out that as it stands, out of the 33 confirmed dead, 32 were innocent, 1 was the gun man himself.

The Bridge - Iain Banks
Choke - Chuck Palahniuk
Sati - Christopher Pike
The Witch's Daughter - Nina Bawden
The last is a childhood favourite of mine that I've been wanting to get ahold of for ages now. I found a lot more books I would have liked to buy, but...
I had a great day today (it may be 13 minutes past today at the time of writing, but I truely don't give a damn :p). I was up in Glasgow having a walk about, eating food and going to see Chicago at the King's Theatre! :D It was such a wonderful show, the final show on closing night!
Thats my...
Ahhhh!!! I picked up this exact book and looked at that exact example the other week  ! Look in the humour section of the bookstore, I know it is there... If I had only seen this this morning I could have gone into Borders and checked while I was in Glasgow. It is annoying as I know exactly...
You are sounding like a random post generator or something. Amusing at first but then it is just plain annoying. Or maybe it just skipped the former...
Eh? Of course plagiarisation is serious. Your argument is a bit rambling, and I'm not sure what you're talking about though, so I'll just say these at the moment:
1. Why is this in the Writer's Showcase?
2. I hope you meant to say niche.
