granted, but after reading some reports on the internet you'll be paranoic all the time wondering if they are actually listening to music or if they are actually using their mp3 players as a cover for eardropping on your conversations :eek:

considerations appart, i read a 500 pages book every two weeks, if im busy it can take me up to a month
(once i read two and a half books in a 12 hours flight plus another 6 hours in the airport waiting for my conection :D )
hey watch the bright side, with so many people complaining about its innacuracies, guys who found interesting the movie, might feel curious about whats the acurate version and actually pick a book

welcome to the forum, i think there used to be thread like this around (search it for other suggestions), i once read one by james partteson called "when the wind blows" with a plot similar to what you describing...
i guess the only one who can aswer about the intention of the blog system is darren
but really dont see the point of complaining about it, its a great add on to the board, an extra service for the users you might say, i mean sure i can have a blog at blogger.com just like who knows how many...
dracula is a must read
the historian is a great book, really enjoy it, but got that kind of feeling of the author not knowing how to end it, and rushing to finishing it

havent read a lot of pirates books, but from the few i had, i would recomend "Long John Silver" by Bjorn Larsson, its a fictional autobiography of the good old cook :)
if you are an history buff, just keep in mind that the movie is based on a graphic novel inspired on the battle of thermopylae and not based on the battle itself
i cant wait to see it either, hope they release it soon in my country :)

Dracula - probably the first "old" book i read, after years of watching the old dracula's movies, i guess i though that in a scarry novel writen 100 years ago the scarry concept would seem to naive for today's standars, so all i can say its, it was a very pleasant surprise :D
