Personally, I like not having to wade through 7 pages of posts with threads like this. With the book discussion threads, yes I think there's merit in finding an old thread, but with things like this? I don't personally mind that there's two that were started a year apart.
I'm a Personal Banker with a major Canadian bank, hopefully going back to school In January of 2007. I was admitted into Social Work but will be trying to transfer back into Education within two years.
I'm 22. Though appearantly no one knows it, they all think I'm in my late twenties at work. Depite my repeatedly saying how old I am. It's a little amusing actually.
Wow! I'm so glad I read this thread and decided to make this my next read. I'm about 1/2 way through it, actually closer to 2/3 and am absoluteyl captivated.
One thing I did enjoy, was the cops, not the two from Lincoln but the two from Wickenden, the one that was Professor Jadid's nephew and his partner. I loved the way his partner always called Joe "fat person" I don't know why it made me laugh so much but everytime he did it, I giggled.
I love her, so far my faves are probably The Other Boelyn Girl and The Queen's Fool. Didn't life the Virgin's Queen as much and actually DISLIKED The Constant Princess. I felt like I speant the first 300 pages waiting for it to get started and the last 150 waiting for it to be over. I felt...
I'd say it reminded me more of The Historian. Overall it was merely ok. Honestly I rushed through it just to finish it as I tend to do with books I'm not all that into it. I have another book on hold at the library called The Egyptologist. We'll see...
Wow. July felt like a slow month until I looked at what I read. 8 books isn't bad considering how much I worked.
