    ARGH! Library snafu

Heh heh heh! You're making me feel so much better! Its nice to know there are others out there who do the same stuff I do! Drop boxes are both a blessing and a curse. I am the worst procrastinator on the planet and know that I have til 955am to drop off a late library book and not get hit...

    ARGH! Library snafu

My library is usually pretty good with that stuff too. Unfortunately, our library is being renovated and they moved to a temporary location for the duration. All my regular librarians seem to be MIA and they have some snotty newbie in there. Phooey. That could be a problem as my other...

    ARGH! Library snafu

I was returning books to the library yesterday and wasn't paying enough attention. I got home and picked up the pile of books that I DIDN'T return only to discover that I'd returned the book I was still reading and kept one that I'd finished! Since I'd been on hold for some time to get the...

    Hello, from Missoula, Montana

I hear you! I've had to be extra careful the last little while. You know how much it makes me mental to see misspelt words.

    Kelley Armstrong

OK, this author is fairly new to me. I find her work quite engaging. The fact that she is Canadian surprised me a bit. I read her juvenile series (Summoning, Awakening, Reckoning) first. I've read quite a few of her books now and enjoy most of them. Anyone else read her stuff?

Flying soon? Watch what you read.

Yet another argument for the Kindle. Can't tell what you're reading til you have it on.

Help a sparkchaser with split infinitives

I meant it was harder to get folks involved, not that the structure was difficult. I hastily posted.

HA! I'm going to tell DH that.

    Kindles, Beaches and Bathtubs...oh my

OK, so I read in the tub. Always have, always will. Now that I have the Kindle I see no reason to stop this practice. I just put the Kindle in a big Ziploc and away I go. I did the same thing by the pool and on the beach (for the three minutes my Kindle survived Mexico!). My DH walked into...

    Getting to know...

You were being TOO careful. They like to be ignored. Heh heh heh.

    On the Kindle...

I'm a heavy library user. I am now also a Kindle owner. My library usage has dropped off significantly at the moment but I can't attribute that to just my Kindle. Our library is under renovation, and the new location is far from convenient for me. I've only been in 4 times since it moved (Mar...

    Getting to know...

Get outta here. I just ignore them til they wilt and water them. I think they are perfect for neglectful souls like myself. They like to dry right out. Oh so many jokes to be made here...
