Duly noted Peder, I will refrain from trying to explain myself to you in future since it seems to be offensive.
sparkchaser, BDSM, or light BDSM? There's a difference? I'm not sure I want the clarification.
Perhaps you had to be there Peder, or perhaps you need to know the gentleman in question. He's quite unlikely to read EITHER of the items mentioned.
Our discussion was about "porn" and how women and men are stimulated differently. (See my comment to sparkchaser) And while it is acceptable...
OK, I see your point. I don't think I'd like my kid sitting next to someone reading a girlie mag.
However, isn't the prevalent theory that men are visual and thus prefer pictures and women are stimulated by stories and scenarios? In that case, would they not be the same in terms of...
Hmmm. That is an impressive summary. I have been thinking Netflix for a while, and really I think the only thing that would sway me to Amazon is the library books for Kindle.
What's your thought oh sparkman? Is reading this kind of thing equivalent to reading a girly mag? Both are titillating. (I just love using that word! ;) )

I'm still waiting for Kindle books to be in Canadian libraries. Hurry up already!
Just had a discussion with a bunch of our friends around the firepit last night. One of them said that he sees women reading this series on a plane next to him and feels a bit offended. His assertion is that he would be vilified for reading Playboy in public like that but its OK for women to...
You're on holiday and when checking your email you realize your library books are due. No problem, renew online...nope! The books all have holds on them so they are unrenewable. Fail.
Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series 1-4. Solid :stars4: for the first two down to a :stars3: for the next two. Plot line is starting to repeat. I guess you can only be in so much mortal jeopardy before it becomes old hat. I'm still going to read the 4th and the other series. Its a young...
Things are different everywhere I guess. I never had to wait for Kindle books when I could get them. I can't get Kindle books anymore since mobipocket books are no longer supported by OverDrive and Canada doesn't have Kindle books yet. Grrr. However, I've regularly had to wait MONTHS for some...
I am fond of Trouble in Paradise (Jesse Stone), and Early Autumn of the Spenser series. Sunny Randall books are a quick read but not particularly enthralling.
