    After reading The Bell Jar and a few short stories I think I prefer her poetry. That's not to say I didn't enjoy her prose - I read The Bell Jar in two days and found it accessible and interesting - as others have mentioned she makes subjects like suicide, depression and an overwhelming feeling...

    Margaret Atwood: The Robber Bride

    I am currently midway through this novel of Atwood's and so far I think it may be the best I have read of her. I'm blown away by the character of Zenia and the effect she has on the other characters both male and female. Has anybody else read this? I'm interested to know what other readers...

    Laugh Out Loud Funny

    Hitchhikers Guide (as lots of people have mentioned) was very funny. I laughed out loud throught the first Terry Pratchett book I read - Going Postal.
