    Litany's Genre Swap v 1.0

    With a pointy, pointy elbow?

    FYI to the yarny

Depends on the colours you've chosen for the squares. If they're bright, I like black, if they're more muted then a cream shade is nice.

    Litany's Genre Swap v 1.0

    I don't really do gentle.

    Litany's Genre Swap v 1.0

I wonder if I've been stood up.

    FYI to the yarny

I think that's a crocheted Vanna rather than cross stitch. There's a program you can use to convert a photo to a pattern. Still, not a terribly tricky thing to make. Third place to a scary clown? And that much acrylic in one place would have been terrifying. Like walking around inside a...

Did Chuck Palahniuk go the casting couch?

Awwww, Jimbow. Really? There's plenty more fish in the sea, lad. Best thing to do is get drunk, sing some sad songs, and then get yourself looking pretty again and go out on the pull.

Did Chuck Palahniuk go the casting couch?

Are you hoping he'll put out for you too?

My New Story Idea (In Part)

Terry Nation already covered discovering a new world inside a magical telescope. Rebecca's World. Ace kid's book. I heartily recommend it.

My New Story Idea (In Part)

It doesn't matter where the story veers off to if no one can get past the clunky opening.

After so many years, music is calling me back.

They're crime fighting dinosaurs, so I think the answer is obvious.

After so many years, music is calling me back.

    I bagsy red!

After so many years, music is calling me back.

I most certainly did not. I was too busy singing Denver the Last Dinosaur to make any sort of judgement call.

After so many years, music is calling me back.

They may or may not solve crimes.

After so many years, music is calling me back.

It sounds like a theme for an 80s cartoon about dinosaurs on motorbikes.

Do you let an author's personal views affect your reading choices?

But often they'll let their personal views stray into the story. I was doing ok with Stranger in a Strange Land until it started beating me over the head with Heinlein's dodgy personal philosophy. No more Heinlein for me. Some personal politics is ok, and to be expected, but getting the...

Which author would you ... ??

George R R Martin. He has stuff all regard for the well-being of his main characters and even less respect for the bit players. I'm pretty sure he has a wheel of death in his office that he uses to decide who gets to die that day.

Would you participate in this book group?

I met Mrs Wollmeise on Friday. There was a whole wall of the stuff. Six month's worth of dyeing apparently.
