:welcome Hello, John! We're glad to have you here. I was about to ask about what you've written, but I see your post here. :) Sounds interesting! What type of books do you most enjoy reading?
Welcome, Steve! What a journey you've been on. We're glad you're here & your stories sound interesting.
I haven't read any Sue Grafton yet, but seeing as the two of you are recommending them, I'm going to add "A" to my list. :)
Welcome, Jordan! Thinking about the future can hurt one's head! :) Crazy changes all the time. BTW, is that a Tardis you are standing in? My husband and I haven't watched many Dr. Whos yet, but we love it.
Oh, & I'm feeling well. Thanks for asking! When you posted your question (on...
Welcome, Michelle! Your children are the exact same ages as mine! We should compare stories. :) I'm slow to adopt e-reading as well and much prefer physical, paper books with pretty covers - thank goodness for public libraries!
Welcome, Bill! We're happy to have you. :) I once read more than one book at a time but now if I attempt it the stories seem to combine in my mind, so I usually stick to just one story at a time. What books are you reading right now?
:welcome Welcome, Indeedity! We're glad to have you & feel honored to be your first forum!!! Audio books are not a sin - though I'll say I tend to prefer reading with my own mind's narration. Check out our sci-fi/fantasy section here. What fantasy books have you read most recently?
What made you really fall in love with reading? Was it a particular book or author? A teacher or parent reading to you? The realization that you'd rather read than do most anything else?
Tell us in 100 words (or more) why you love books and how/when you first realized how much you enjoy...
There are points for getting "likes", for being active over a period of time, for number of posts, etc. The trophy points were decided upon/set up before we took over the forum and I think we may be tweaking them a little at some point. Let us know if you have any suggestions! :)
Looking forward to catching up with the rest of you - sounds interesting! And I didn't actually recommend it, the credit for that goes to Conscious Bob. :)
I hope you enjoy the book! We haven't yet selected a book for Book of the Month, but you can vote on the title here: http://www.bookandreader.com/threads/vote-for-october-november-botm.27528/
Hi, Kelli! I checked out your blog, and like the list you made! I've read/enjoyed a lot of the titles and have a bunch of others on my to-be-read list, so we may have similar taste and I'm looking forward to checking out some of the ones I don't have on my list yet!
Any plans to post again...
