I've been staring at Murakami's Kafka on the Shore (which sits right next to this computer) for abot 6 weeks. It's getting very close to the top of my TBR pile.
I agree with everything you are all saying but there does have to be a bit of self-responsibiity and in the case of minors, parental responsibility. I'm not saying it's not terribly difficult to resist caving under so much outside pressure but nevertheless.
I do not bowl but I have such found memories of my late grandmother bowling. She was very good and even made it to a local tv show here called Candlepins for Cash a few times. Plus who the heck dosen't love those shoes?
