    Battlestar Galactica on Sci Fi

I've only seen the miniseries, but that was great. It's not on TV in Sweden, but I'm thinking of buying the DVD. I suppose you recommend it?

    Question Game

I don't think it was because it was particularly difficult, but I HATED taking the theoryclasses for my driver's license! And math was never my favourite subject. Were you ever a "teacher's pet"?

Hands down I need to know!

Susanna Clarke: Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell

Trumpets, horsehoofs beating, pink shadow to the rescue!!! How can you not looove this book? ;) I absolutely love, love, love and adore this book, I wish it had been twice as long! But I also know people who don't. I think it comes down to whether or not you like this style of prose. My...

Pet Hates. This is Room 101.

First of all: I HATE ticks!! I was lying on the grass earlier, reading, (this is no wild fieldgrass, this is well-tended grass) and suddenly a tick comes crawling across the page, and it was so tiny I barely saw it. I hate them! They've ruined nature for me! I also hate when people, my...

    Question Game

Dinner for me is the one cooked meal I eat per day so it's either at lunch which for me would be 2 pm or at night, 7 pm. Do you burn easily in the sun?

Our perfect fantasy book will have...

...towards the heart of adventure followed by their devoted hamster-armadillo. They walk for hours through the dense bush, Big Boris hacking his way through the undergrowth with the enthisiasm of Genghis Khan hacking his way through his enemies. They stop to drink from a clear spring when they...

    Rob Thurman

Well, mrkgnao spoke the truth - I loooved this book!! It was a funny, actionpacked, smart urban fantasy with a new twist on old concepts, but the best thing about it was the main character Cal Leandros. I'm not a person who especially chooses to read about 20 year old boys, but this particular...

What do you use as a bookmark?

I use the small post-its, the ones that look like tiny, colourful band-aids. I like them because the don't fall out and they don't get in the way.

Pet Hates. This is Room 101.

I hate that some (a lot) of people with baby carriages seem to think that they are alone in the world or that they always have right of way. They just take up an entire sidewalk or park their twin carriages in the centre of an isle at the store so no one can pass. It's like: "I give you my...

Do you keep a book list?

Yes, I have an Excel document where I list books I have read, I want to read, I want to buy etc. It's way to long to post here!:)

    If you could be anywhere...

If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be? And why aren't you there? I would just like to sit on my parents porch soaking up the sun and warmth that is the first taste of summer here in Sweden. Instead I have to finish painting my living room, and my arms are already numb from...

How is the 1st of May in your place?

Well, this being Sweden and Sweden being proud of its socialist background I would say May 1st is the holiest of all holy holidays. Stores can be open on Good Friday or Christmas Day, but God forbid anything should be open on May 1st!!!:D

J.C. & Barb Hendee: The Noble Dead Series

I've read the first one in the series, and I thought it was OK. I liked the setting - it was a traditional Dracula-East European setting including superstitious villagers. I wasn't 100% pleased with the characters, it seemed sometimes like the two authors had problems making up their minds where...
