    Your Very First Website...

Well I don't know if this counts as a website or not, but my dad had a collection of links he put together with HTML and used that for his home page. That would've been my first impression of the internet.

    Boardgames anyone?

I don't play board games much anymore, but Clue, Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble are my favourites. I like Taboo and Scattergories too.

    The X-Files II

I saw it yesterday. Loved it! I'd love to see a mythology movie, but this was a nice way to get back into the X-Files after all these years.

Is online text reading really reading?

It depends what they're reading. There's lots of worthwhile reading on the internet. Now if we're talking about cell phone text messages or chat room messages, sure it's reading, but it's not productive reading. If anything, it's dangerous to their IQ. I deal with a lot of young adults from...

Do You Have a Story Idea (Novel or Short Story) in Your Head Right Now?

I have tons of story ideas in my head. But I've never been able to get it quite right when I try to put them down on paper. I'm working on it though.

The new economy of book publishing

Great point. I believe that books will eventually fall by the wayside. It probably won't happen for a few generations, but eventually it will happen. Books are still a relatively new thing to the human race, people used to pass on stories by word of mouth. And even after reading and writing was...

Jules Verne: Around the World in 80 Days

All during my childhood my mother talked about this book and I used to play out the scene where they rescue the Indian lady with my barbie dolls! I finally read the book a couple years ago and loved it! Jules Verne certainly knew how to write a great story.

    Tin Man

Yes! I bought a copy just the other day actually. I've never liked The Wizard of Oz with Judy Garland but I've always liked different retellings of the story. Tin Man isn't my favourite version because it's very predictable, but it's a lot of fun.

Books everybody has read except you

I've never read the Da Vinci Code either. I'd like to, just to see what all the fuss was about, but at the same time I really don't want to waste my time on it. I try to avoid reading whatever's in at the moment, or anything that has an Oprah sticker on it. I've only read one Stephen King...
