After watching Conan the Barbarian recently, I want to start reading the original stories. I'm just not sure where to start. This anthology seems fairly comprehensive, but I was also eyeing these collections as well. What do the Howard fans here recommend?
Happy Tears. Parker Posey and Demi Moore play two sisters who care for their dementia-riddled father (Rip Torn). Good acting from all three, but I didn't like the trite "quirky indie" feel of the film. Oh yeah, the dream sequences were so unnecessary. I would have liked the movie more if they...
I looked it up. Not bad; just too modern-looking. I prefer the old-fashioned artwork for the Gaiman and Rice books. Their Ray Bradbury anthology and copy of To Kill a Mockingbird have nice cover art.
