Hardcore. Maybe I've become too difficult to shock, but this was tame given the subject matter. I will say the final scenes pack a punch (both literally and figuratively).
There are trailers for adult books. Very rarely do I see them on television though. Anyway, here are two I found:

I started with Thief of Time and liked it enough to continue with the series. Just don't pick up The Last Continent. That was the only Discworld book I didn't like. And from what I've read, the first two books aren't that great.

Firethorn by Sarah Micklem
This will be my second time trying American Gods. I hated the book immensely last time I started it.
When I was in high school I'd have as many as five books going. I didn't have much of a social life back then. Mind you, they were easy sci-fi/horror reads. Right now I'm only on one book, which I haven't picked up in two days :whistling:.
I think the phrase mean different things to different people. I wouldn't describe myself as a book snob because I mostly read genre fiction (horror, fantasy, etc). Most of the works run from great to enjoyable, but worthy of the literary canon? Not so sure about that one. Since I tend to avoid...
