I feel bad sometimes because I know that I honestly love my books more than a lot of the people that I know (not ALL of the people but a LOT of the people).
For me, not a lot compares to finding an amazing old book.
I much prefer old books, and there is nothing I love more than digging through a used bookstore, the scent of "old book" wafting over me.
I'd say my collection is half old books, half current publications. The old books aren't that collectible...I can't afford firsts, and I have a lot of...
Strangers on a Train by Patricia Highsmith isn't set entirely on a train, but a train plays an important part in the plot, and the book is a very good read if you like suspense.

There are so many great songs and great lyrics, but this one haas always been a favorite.
The Smiths - There is a Light That Never Goes Out
Take me out tonight
Where there's music and there's people
Who are young and alive
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I...
I love Agalloch, and looking the Dude's list over, I'd have to say that I'm also a big fan of Death. I have all of the albums as well as some of the stuff Chuck Schuldiner did with Control Denied (who may soon release some of the last tracks Chuck recorded before his death in 2001). My favorite...
