I've given some amazing concerts in my car for my own enjoyment! I don't mind if I don't hit all of the notes right or if I don't sing the right lyrics. :lol:

Even though I knew what was going to happen, that scene always gets to me.
I enjoyed his previous novel, The Corrections. Big, long, sprawling, dramatic book about a disfunctional family with a good amount of humor thrown into the mix. I'm looking forward to reading Freedom.
I read Shackleton by Roland Huntford years ago, and it was excellent. I think it was a very balanced look at a man that some would view as a hero and others would view as a failure. Unfortunately, I think it's out of print, but copies should be available from on-line resources like Abebooks.
We are already planning on watching The Evil Dead II this weekend. I'm a sucker for B Horror films in general.
I love The Hudsucker Proxy. In fact, I'm hard pressed to think of a Coen Brothers' film that I haven't like to some degree. Blood Simple, Miller's Crossing and The Big Lebowski...
