My best friend in school had her walls plastered with pictures of this guy. I believe that was around the same time when Do The Bartman came out. Our children will laugh about us. :D

I have the book, never read it and saw the movie. Conclusion was I don't have to read the book some time soon. The movie was ok in my opinion but predictable through and through.
Maybe I do have to read it at some point. Just not before I've read the other 800 unread books waiting to be picked up.
Doesn't happen often and probably hasn't happened in a long, long time. I sat down to read Shuman's Lost Girls and finished it in one sitting. Even took it with me to the restroom. :-)
My husband is buggin' me for whatever reason to get a kindle 2.
I'd never seen one and wasn't really interested.
So today we went to a Rahmen restaurant and the nice men next to me took out a kindle 2 and showed it to me. I actually liked it until I read all of the 200+ one star reviews...
I've read the first three books lately and I would say it is Minerva McGonagall. She reminds me of a teacher I once had. :-)
The sexy award goes to Severus Snape. Maybe npt the character but I love movies played by Rickman. I admit, I like the older guys. :-)
As an advise from me, just read what might interest you just from the books description on the back of the book. I began reading english books about 4 years ago and the best I did was just to jump into it. You will learn faster as you might imagine. :-)
The first book is always difficult but...
It depends on the book. Sometimes I have to chew for a bit and begin another book on the next day (I usually finish my books in the evening). But if there isn't anything to chew on I usually pick up the next book as soon as I've closed the other one.
So far I've read only the Boleyn Girl and saw the movie as well. From a historical perspective both have major errors but that's why it's called fiction. I just wish authors would point out their alterations in the end of the book. LOL
The Boleyn Inheritance and The Other Queen are still on my...
