On a very hot day in August of 1994, my wife told me she was going down to the Derry Rite Aid to pick up a refill on her sinus medicine presciption -- this is stuff you can buy over the counter these days, I believe.
Bag of Bones by Stephen King
I went to the library and they sold new hardcovers for $1.50 and paperbacks for $0.50.
So I got:
Hal McDonald - The Anatomist (I had this one one my wishlist)
Jonathan Kellerman - Obsession
Stephen J. Cannell - The Devil's Workshop
Lisa Scottoline - Daddy's Girl and
Christine Feehan - Dark...
Softwarewise I can recommend the collectorz software. The price is reasonable and it's a lifesaver when it comes to huge book collections.
I wouldn't know what to do without it.
Which book exactly ? As far as I know there is the one by Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice, then there is this whole Darcy series: Darcy's Story, Darcy's Daughters, Diary, Darcy & Elizabeth and so on. :D
Uhm.... never read anything of both of them but I saw them on TV. Judging from the movies I'd prefer Matthew Macfadyen over Clark Gable anytime.
Both are different characters and I have a hard time to compare them.

The Oxford history of Greece and the hellenistic world by Broadman, Griffin & Murray and
Ancient Greece from prehistoric to hellenistic times by Thomas R. Martin
The history of Greece and Rome can be looked at in two different ways.
The Oxford history of Greece and the hellenistic world - Broadman, Griffin & Murray

I'm a liar. I not only bought one book. Of course not ! Newest additions:
In The Woods by Tana French
The Boy Next Door by Gretchen Brinck (True Crime)
The Missing Girlsby L. O'Neal, P. Tennyson, R. Watson (True Crime)
I like the older works much more than the recent ones:
Salem's Lot (I watched the movie as a child and it scared the *beep* out of me. Later I loved the book just as much.)
The Stand (There were a few thing I didn't like but overall it's one of those books never forgot)
Rose Madder and...
