I'm not falling over myself to read it no matter how "empowering" it is for women to explore their sexuality. I am sure I will read it at some point to see what reaction the prose will have for me, but it is not this day. (or month, or probably even year) There are a lot more books out there...
I like to read both formats. Some books I like to have in hard/soft covers (usually favorites) and others I can read as e-books or purchase e-books at a reasonable price. I still use my library card for both kinds.
I read a blog post by some moron stating that the sales for 50 Shades of Grey is proof that women are in denial that they want to be dominated, blah blah blah. (All that proves is that fools and their money soon part.)
I think I surprised my boyfriend with how quickly I was devouring e-books on it yesterday afternoon! ;) I already have an Alura-tek e-reader, but I find that I like my Kindle a whole lot better. Between the two no e-book should be out of my reach now.
Now that I'm done with the Kane Chronicles, I have to say that of the three volumes the first book is by far the best but the other two aren't bad. They just could have been better.
