I read The Dark Elf Trilogy, The Crystal Shard, and the first half of Streams of Silver, and I still don't see the appeal of Drizzt.

I think I might have been expecting too much from it as well. Still I seriously think the author should have taken the expression "less is more" to heart when penning this tome.

I liked it. Plenty of violence for the gore whores. It's not a great film, but if you take it for what it is then I'd say you'd like it.

I'm almost halfway through this book but I have liked reading it so far. Vampires the way they are meant to be! Book 2 comes out on September 21 so I won't have long to wait to read the next installment.
