Just five?! Oh very well, I will attempt such a limited list...
The Silmarillion - J.R.R. Tolkien
The Count of Monte Cristo - Alexandre Dumas
The Scarlet Pimpernel - Emmuska Orczy
The Silver Wolf - Alice Borchardt
Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte
The Pretender
Beauty and the Beast
Xena: Warrior Princess season one
Dinosaurs seasons one and two
Birds of Prey
American Gothic
Poltergeist: The Legacy season one
ROAR
Raising the Bar season one
Are we counting anime series too? Because I'd have another list. ;)
I only buy hardcovers if I am collecting a series and that's the type of edition that the first book I purchased, or if I really want to read a book and I can't get it through ILL or wait for a paperback release. I've been disappointed too many times so I try before I buy and if I really like...
From the library:
The Musketeer's Seamstress - Sarah D'Almeida
The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
King Raven Trilogy - Stephen R. Lawhead
1. Hood
2. Scarlet
3. Tuck
And volumes 1-7 of the Vampire Knight manga... if manga count. The librarians said I went wild on requesting...
I'm afraid to read the Dark Tower series again because I know I will throw book five across the room.
Anyone looking forward to the new King book coming out in November? I've got it on my requests from ILL.
I picked up Brat Farrar, but other books came in too and vampires will just have to take precedent over the swap selection. I have a feeling it probably won't get read in time and will need to be renewed or checked out at a later date again. :whistling:
Mafia Dynasty: The Rise and Fall of the Gambino Crime Family, by John H. Davis
I don't have a lot of non-fiction left in my TBR pile... but I figure since this has been there the longest I will put it forward.
