I swung by Borders this weekend and picked up the following marked 50% off: Dust and Shadow - Lindsay Faye Guardians of Ga'Hoole Collection - Kathryn Lasky (Books 1-3)

To be perfectly honest I loathed those books. I only read them because my boyfriend was doing so... Kylar is such a Mary-Sue. I kept wanting to see him die because he got on my nerves so badly, but alas he cannot die and he's too stupid to realize that everything comes with a price.

I visit a handful on a regular basis. A couple are mainly aimed at books, and I have two devoted to two of my favorite actors that I like to post on.

I got to the beginning of season three, but to be honest I don't really have much motivation to continue watching the show. Sheldon is the best character though so if I do feel the need to see more it would be because of him.

My general limit of giving books the benefit of the doubt is around 50 pages, although there are times that I go as far as 100 pages.

How about posting some mystery suggestions? The Mask of Ra by P.C. Doherty I'm in the mood for more mysteries set in Ancient Egypt. The Lord Meren series gave me a thirst for it, heh!
