    Ray Bradbury: Fahrenheit 451

I remember reading this my sophomore year of high school, and I remember liking it. I think I should pick it up again and give it another go...just to make sure I liked it. *lol*

Today I'm irritated because my coworkers are in terrible moods, and are upset by projects handed down by the boss. Man up and get it done.

    Recently Purchased/Borrowed

I'm about to pre-order a few books by Charlaine Harris that are due to come out in May. But aside from those, I recently bought a Stephen King book at the grocery store. It's called Stephen King Goes to The Movies, and it's five of his books that have been made movies, as well as a little...

Do you read in the toilet, and what reading material usually goes in there?

Glad to know I'm not the only one that does this when I'm unprepared. Ha ha ha

You should definitely do that. I love to read about things set in that specific time era. Great book. Great author.

I think I read that one too! Though, I can't remember the name either, but the storyline definitely sounds familiar.

    Guilty Secrets

*lol* Thanks for the laugh. It looks like you have 2 recruits to share your opinion. I did enjoy The Hobbit...I do have to make that confession. But the others were too drenched in detail for me to sort out. ;)

What could JK Rowling write next (pertinent to HP)?

I don't know that I could read anything else by her, and not be thinking of Harry Potter the whole time. The same reason that I haven't read anything else that Stephenie Meyer has written (outside of Twilight).

    Harry Potter Fan Fiction?

I've only read a few fanfic things regarding Harry Potter, and they weren't even about the main characters, which I liked. I don't like for people to write about Harry, it bothers me for some reason. *lol* But, I do believe that most of the fanfic pieces are not very good, but entertaining.

You didn't really miss much. *lol* I only made it through the first one before I gave it up as a bad job.

Books you were forced to read at school!

Gosh, it's hard to remember that far back... To Kill a Mockingbird (9th Grade) Lord of the Flies (10th Grade) A Separate Peace (10th Grade) Fahrenheit 451 (10th Grade) Excerpt from Lonesome Dove (11th Grade) Frankenstein (12th Grade) Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (12th Grade) Heart...

Which Was the Last Book You Read in One Sitting?

I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in one sitting, because I could not stand not knowing if Harry lived or died. It took me about 12 and a half hours to finish. But, it was so worth that 12 and a half hours of rainy Sunday.

    What books have you hated?

Oil by Upton Sinclair. I saw the movie...There Will Be Blood, and my boss offered me the book to read. Not only were they completely different stories, but I just could not get into the book. It took me ages to read.

    A Walk To Remember

I cried like a little kid when I read this book. The last 100 pages or so had me in tears. I didn't cry during the movie though...maybe it was because it was set in different time periods, and it just didn't feel the same to me.

    Biographies.

I read Ginger by Ginger Rogers, and it was pretty good. I tend to read just biographies though, and not autobiographies. Pretty much anything I can find at Barnes & Noble.

    Scariest Book Ever?

I think that Pure Murder by Corey Mitchell was pretty scary, in that it's a true story and happened not too far (like yards) from where I work. I also think that any book by John Saul is scary, my personal favorite being Suffer the Children. It and Pet Cemetery by Stephen King scared me so...
