Hi, I hope you won't be offended...
Since you say you think that you maybe too young ( notice from your profile you are 13 ) for Oscar Wilde then I would wait a bit to read
* The Name of the Rose, Umberto Eco;
* if on a winter's night a traveler, Italo Calvino
They can be pretty hard...
I got this book today for £1 ( yay me! ) :D
I had heard good things about it, and so I jumped at the chance to snap it up for such a low price.
I notice there are two other books with the same character. Is Wolf in Shadow self contained? Are the other books self contained?
Yes, I have seen both the Jap and US version. I actually like the American version much better. I thought the movie had a lot more tension and drama to it. I found the Japanese version a little slow. I was shocked that I found the American one to be better! What's the world comming to! :eek...

Recently I had the pleasure of watching the Japanese Grudge 2. It scared the crap out of me!
The Ring is another scare-a-thon. Especially the at the end when
Salem's Lot is also up there.
What's your spooky poision?
Happy and spooktastic halloween to everybody on TBF :)

I only put on shoes if I am going out. If it's not cold then I don't even put clothes on... ( said he stitting typing this in his...

Memory, Sorrow and Thorn is probably my all time fave fantasy trilogy. The writing is wonderful and the books are full of adventure, humour, wisdom, and characters that you will care about. The locations, history, and various races are the best relised that I have encounted. I especially liked...
I think Shari makes a very good point. As Ja said, it's all subjective. And what made it a "classic"?
Personally, I would never follow a list like that. I prefer to dedide for myself what I like and read as I want to. For me, a book has to stand on it's own. It doesn't matter if "they" regard...
Thanks for the suggestion, but it isn't the answer. Firefox is set up to auto delete them. I also don't have a problem cutting and pasting in any other site but the book forum. I can even cut and paste here when pasting into the URL pop up box.
Strange... I just now discovered that I can cut...
