    Robert E Howard

Yes, back in the 70's/80's there were a lot of of those Ace paperbacks with the Frank Frazetta covers on the shelves. I've still got the 12 book Conan series somewhere.

Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan: The Strain

Finished the trilogy a couple of days ago. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I would like to see some prequel books focusing on Setrakian or Mr. Quinlan.

Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan: The Strain

Finished The Fall yesterday and I'm running out to buy The Night Eternal today. I loved the scene in The Fall when the vamps derailed the train and the swarmed over the car like that scene from Del Toro's Mimic.

    Halloween Reads?

Yes, Lee does go for the gross out! Of those 4 books that he wrote that take place in hell, City Infernal and Lucifer's Lottery are the best.

    Halloween Reads?

How are you liking Incubi? I didn't think it was that great, however Succubi is a fun read, check that one out if you get the chance. I didn't dig Children of the Night that much either. My October reading has been entirely taken up by the first 2 volumes of The Strain trilogy.

This one was tons of fun. Amazing visually, especially at the jaw dropping finale when he posts up against a 200 ft tall troll. Loved it.

    The Human Centipede

Pretty much, except from what I've read, most of the gross stuff that was implied in the first one is shown in this one. I think it's this.
