^^^ re: Red Riding trilogy
Ok, I'm glad you posted about it and like it. It's been popping up on Netflix instant and from the basic summary on there, I didn't know if I should check it out. I will now.
re: Crimes of Passion
Lenny, it was absolutely bizarre (awesome). LOTS of sex. I read...
Crimes of Passion (1984)
My bf's mother got this on Netflix. She had watched it a long time ago and loved it. We watched it together. An incredibly uncomfortable experience.
But the movie was amazing. It was strange and weird. I'd love to watch it again.

re: Wolfman
We got that through Netflix but wasn't able to finish it. We have a copy too but still haven't gotten around to it. It reminded me of Dracula (1992) - well, the parts that I watched anyway.
This is only my second time attending a library book sale. My first one was Fall 2009. It's quite fun and there are some great finds! I mean, a lot of the books have been donated and most are actual library books (with the glossy cover, the call number, and the checkout card inside), but...
I love library book sales!
Last Friday, I picked up a few for a $1 each. Then on Sunday, it was half off day, I picked up a butt-load for 50 cents.

Masuimi Max is going to be in SA again this October. Gonna try to go see her. Hopefully I'll be able to take a decent pic with her - one where it doesN'T look like I'm crying.
My boyfriend's mother (an Oates fan) borrowed this from the library. I was immediately drawn to the cover of the book. I've seen her read many books by Oates, this was the first one she recommended to me.
It was dark, mysterious, and lovely.
I'd been reading a lot of Dexter, King, and...
re: Stephanie Courtney on House
I didn't recognize her ... I looked her up and saw that she's on Mad Men (but I've only seen one full episode of Mad Men).
Season 5, Ep 1
I liked it a lot. It wasn't very intense, but I felt like it brought a lot of
Favorite scene:
And man, Quinn's ass is very white. He's so damn tanned everywhere else.
The scene at the gas station was great as well. I liked seeing Dex at his "most human."
re: On Demand
I know! I'm very excited for new Dexter. And yeah, damn, it seems like everything is on on Thursday nights. I did a lot of catching up yesterday... Paul's family has On Demand, so we got to watch Outsourced and Office last night.
It's my favorite book (in general, not just my favorite King book). So here are my answers without looking it up:
1. Bill, Big Bill, Stuttering Bill Denborough(sp?)
2. Beverly "Bev" Marsh
3. Ben Hanscomb (sp?)
4. Richie
5. Mike
6. Stan "the man" Uris
7. Eddie "Eds"
I'd been re-reading this...
