Oh, and today I bought Omega Minor by Paul Verhaeghen, this year's winner of the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize. It's a biggy. So might have to leave it to later. Much later.

That is a problem with picking pieces for discussion that are there pretty much to entertain without doing anything else - they don't tend to have anything worth discussing or anything open to interpretation that gets seen in different ways by each reader, thereby pushing the discussion.
